I love riding bikes. It’s pretty simple. Bad day, ride a bike, and you’ll soon be smiling. Good day, ride a bike to celebrate. What type of bike? I figure it doesn’t really matter! However, it’s a bonus if it’s fast and a heap of fun.
Over the past few years, I’ve witnessed the magic of electric bikes – both high-performance dirt bikes and mountain bikes. While I still enjoy taking my YZ250 out to the track, I will never miss an opportunity to get laps in on an e-moto. And if it’s only an hour or two I have spare, you’ll probably find me at the local downhill track.
Being about to write about the latest and greatest of electric dirt bikes, as GritShift’s writer, I am in the best position to see the amazing work the GritShift team is doing, and I am so fortunate that I can work with the best team, writing about my biggest passion. The downside? It’s almost impossible to write about the new bikes and parts being created while resisting the urge to buy yet another new bike or mod!
