When Electro & Co. and GritShift collaborate, you know you’ll be in for a treat! That’s exactly what has happened here. Take the Electro & Co. ETM RTR Sport and mash it together with the GritShift big sender style, and you get the ETM RTR Reaper.

For those who haven’t heard about small-sized, high performance electric dirt bike specialists Electro & Co., they’re a local Californian company that started out designing performance parts for electric dirt bikes. Then Electro & Co. worked out that they could get even better performance if they designed the complete bike!

With a similar background to us here at GritShift – bike riders designing high-performance parts for our own bikes – we instantly got along! It didn’t take long before we had an idea of a collab. ETM RTR Sport with a GritShift touch = the ETM RTR Reaper.

This couldn’t be more different from your Alibaba toy bikes. This is a strong, high-performance, fast electric dirt bike made for riding hard. Let’s take a closer look.

Before we dive into the specifics of the ETM RTR Reaper, let’s recap what the ETM RTR Sport is all about. At 8kW of power from a 72 Volt / 25 Ah battery, this pit-bike rockets.

The battery can be upgraded to a 45Ah battery if you need additional range, but for most riders, the 25Ah battery would be more than sufficient. It’s good to have options!

The 2026 version of the Sport comes with a 420 chain, upgraded high-output motor, and a reinforced swingarm and foot peg mount. The ETM RTR Sport is designed to be taken out of the box and to the track. No mods required for most riders.

But, you know that’s not how we roll… So, in true GritShift fashion, we’ve made some mods. This is what we’ve added:

ETM RTR Sport Reaper Edition

We’ve taken the already perfect ETM RTR Sport and made a few tweaks. The first thing we did was design the ghost graphics kit, and added it to the Nardo Gray plastics set that’s exclusive to the Reaper edition. The forks and swingarm are a sleek-looking black to complement the graphics.

Rusty, GritShift R&D boss explained, “The graphics kit and colors were based on the official appearance package for GritShift team race bikes.”

Where do you ride the ETM RTR Sport Reaper Edition?

Did you see our YouTube videos? On our channel, we reviewed the ETM RTR back when it first came out. We even had the production model, and it was still flying around the track! The ETM RTR Sport is suited for adults who love to have fun. The ergos are well designed – that is, the handlebars, footpegs, and seat feel roomy, even for a smaller bike.

Kids can also ride the ETM RTR; however, the seat is still 30 inches, so it would be best suited for a teenager. The pegs are super strong compared to many other brands, and they offer the ability to adjust the height. This can help slightly, but you need to make sure that your child can at least touch the ground when seated on the bike.

If you’re new to dirt bikes and looking for something for your child, please have a read of this article, and remember this is a high-performance machine and needs to be treated as such. For something a little less powerful, check out the ETM RTR Lite, which is a very similar bike, but has 5kw of power instead of 8kw.

ETM RTR Sport vs Reaper edition

If you’re loving the ghost graphics with the sleek forks and swingarms, check out the Reaper Edition. At the time of writing, both the standard and the Reaper edition are the same price; only GritShift sells the Reaper edition. This means you’ll be the proud owner of a limited edition ETM RTR Sport!

Same powertrain, same frame, same wheels. The differences are:

  • Plastics are different colors with different graphics
  • Forks are different colors
  • The swingarm is a different color

Which do you think looks cooler?

GritShift thoughts

We love working with Electro & Co. They make reliable, fast bikes that withstand the way we ride them – hard. The ETM RTR won’t replace your mid-sized or full-sized e-moto, but it is something that you can’t ride without a huge smile! They’re so much fun, and they still rip around the track.

Check out both versions, the Sport and the Reaper edition, and see which one speaks to you. Underneath the different plastics is the same high-quality machine, so whichever you choose, you won’t go wrong!

Did you know that the Reaper almost came with a high-viz yellow shock spring? It didn’t quite make this edition due to completion schedules, but keep a lookout for future limited edition bikes!

What is the ETM RTR

What is the 2026 ETM RTR Sport

The ETM RTR Sport, 2026, is the upgraded version of the original ETM RTR. Check out this video from Electro & Co. that explains all the changes that the guys and girls made to the new version.
